kent census 1841 1851

 ;) looking for family details for William meader who married mercy elizabeth march about jun1839 in county kent where they lived until leaving for australia.
also shipping details as they left for downunder on the duchess of northumberland early 1856 or late 1855.

duchess of northumberland departs Southampton  on  27  11 1855 with Captain  McHardy and arrives Port Adelaide on  29  02 1856.

Hi Peter

If the couple you are referring to are the William MEADER and Mercy Elizabeth MARTIN (I see on your other post that you have listed her as MARTIN with a different departure date to Australia) who are listed on the GRO marriage as both marrying Farnham RD 1839 ............. should you be looking in Kent?  The Farnham registration district is on the Hants/Surrey border - Farnham is actually in Hampshire.

Do you have the names/ages/birthplaces of any known children born in England?
