yeah i have a bit on them well on the Scarrotts
William & Joseph Orchard married Caroline and Susan Scarrott at Shipton under Wychwood, Oxon 2.10.1843 & 3.10.1842 both daughters of William Scarrott of Cheslyn Hay, Staffs.

Eliza Scarrott married James Smith un confirmed.  Their daughter Peggy married a Joseph Orchard son of William & Caroline (above)

Joseph & Susan (above) had a son Edwin Orchrd 11.11.1843 Ledbury, Herefordshire.
Joseph dies in 1899 living with Annie “Orchard” in Plymouth.  She died in 1905 and is 20 years too young to be his wife Susan.

William & Caroline both died in Feb 1900 near Hatherleigh.  Headstone in village church.

Susan Scarrott baptised 3.12.1820 Launton, Oxon but Susanna Scarrott d/o William & Margaret Scarrott travelling basket maker.

thats very interesting my Peggy Smith who married a joseph Orchard  1875 Truro devon, on their marriage certificate it says her father was James Smith deceased licensed Hawker
joseph father was William Orchard Licensed Hawker witnesses were her sister Harriet Lee ( Nee smith) & robert Lee husband
 joseph was 31 when he married so born 1845 peggy was 20 so born 1855 does any of this fit with you?

I found something interesting about Scarrott family
 a man called Shadrack Scarrott ( Scarritt) b 1825 Ramsden
 Oxfordshire also a Esan Scarrott b 1802 Charlbury Oxfordshire could they be related Scarrot family you mention.
 I have census records from 1841 up to 1901
 In 1851 Shadrack was traveling with his family down as traveller now interesting point is they are with a family of Buckland
 Timothy b 1807 Great Missenden Buckinghamshire & Penelope Buckland Hawkers they must be related to my Bucklands some how

hi matilda I should have said that harriet Lee & robert Lee were married and Harriet was sister of Peggy Orchard borh girls were Smiths before marriage
