The book Island at War by Margery WEST describes the internment camp at Knockaloe, Isle of Man.  It includes some photos of the actual internees, with their names attached, and some other names, as follows:

Hi, I do have some information about what actually happened if anyone is interested.  This chap worked with my great, great grandfather and my great grandfather in Birmingham and lived in Maidenhead before being taken to the Isle of Man.

There is a memorial to the internees who died in custody at the entrance to the Great Northern Cemetery, Southgate - photo page 94 is not clear enough to see if it shows names, but book says 54 internees are buried there.
Somewhere, there must be a record of who these 54 people were.  Please post if you find out.

To very short list of Alexandra Palace detainees add my great-grandfather's brother:born in then Prussia 1867
Richard Constantin Noschke,china packer,of 3 Boston Road,Hatherley Gardens,East Ham,London,around 49 when detained in 1915.
He wrote a diary of his internment for his children which lies at the Imperial War Museum. His wife was English and he was voluntarily repatriated to Germany in 1918,not knowing the war was nearly over. His son was in British Army trenches in France at the time,gaining a medal! 3 members of this family including my grandmother altered their names to sound less German or completely English,my London-born grandmother never admitting that both her parents were German,so far as not being drawn when my brother approached her about obtaining a British ancestry passport!
