Hall/Deely Loughrea
« on: Thursday 02 February 06 04:16 GMT (UK) »
Researching Richard Hall possible parents Thomas Hall and Margaret Burke, born Loughrea married in Loughrea Ann Deely in 1835.  Family the left Ireland and went to London where the family remained in the Southwark/Peckham area until the 1950s.  I am related to John Joseph Hall b 1839 said to be born Fulham but lived Peckham.  John Joseph died 1915 in Camberwell. Interested to know what happened to Mary Ann Hall born 1865 in Bermondsey, father was JOhn Joseph.  Thanks for any inforamtion.

Hi Robeena,

My Grandmother's maiden name is Deely and from Loughrea. I've traced my Deelys back to the 1800s and they're remain within Loughrea and surrounding areas.

Do you have a tree online showing your Deelys?

Kind regards,
Glen.

Hi Glen,
I only have a tree on GenesReunited. However, I don't have much on deelys.  From Loughrea records I have that Ann Deely is the daughter of John Deely and Ellen Fahy born 1815 from memory.   Richard Hall and Ann Deely married in 1835 in Loughrea then they moved to London where they stayed.

Hi Glen,
I would appreciate if you come across anyone on that Deely line to let me know.  Also if you have any Loughrea contacts, I am looking for a photo of Delia Cunniff nee Hall.  I am related to her line through my Halls.
Last time I was in Loughrea I talked to Gerard McInerney who has the supermarket in Loughrea.  He knew Delia Hall so he may also know more about your Deelys.
