Hi
Have you searched the IGI for your Joseph and James?
Have had a quick search and found 2 possible candidates

James Draper christened 09.12.1804 in Rushden parents Joseph and Mary Draper.
Joseph Draper christened 07.04.1828 in Rushden parents James and Mary

Couldn't locate a marriage in Rushden but they may not have married in Rushton anyway so could be nearby parishes usually that of the wife but not always, sometimes where they were working at the time.

Hope this is of some use

Hi
Just saw Peter's info and there is a marriage on the IGI for a James Draper. One married Mary Camp in Reed Herts on 16th November 1805. A strong possibility for this James and Mary.
Found births of children with James and Mary as parents all born Rushden.

John 13/08/1809
James 05/01/1812
Mary 08/09/1816 d 27/10/1816
Mary 09/02/1818
George 22/05/1820
William 03/11/1822

I realize that this thread is old, but I have Drapers in my tree going back through the 1700s in Rushden Herts,  and before that in Cottered.  The Edward Draper mentioned in one of the posts is, I think, my Great Great Grandfather, who moved to Northfleet around 1875.. His son George Joseph is my Great Grandfather and my Grandfather was his son Hardy George Alfred Draper.

If you are still monitoring this I'd love to swap notes
