Hi Jacqui
Welcome to Rootschat  :)

The book that I have only covers baptisms, marriages and burials during the year 1886.

There were no Fairlamb's hatched, matched or dispatched during that year, however there is an Arthur Johnson bap 24.10.1886 Sheriff Hill

I know he isn't the one you're after but maybe he'll fit somewhere.

Good luck

Hi SooCatt

My surname interests are SMALL, NORMANDALE, MACKINGS - do they get a mention?

And yes, I also have a BELL - my 3xgreat grandmother Dorothy - but apart from her marriage to Charles SMALL in Jan 1808 no definite links to anyone else!
