IRON FOUNDRIES IN WINLATON AREA

One of my ancestors was a nail maker in the Winlaton area in 1851 aged 42 how can I find out more about the place he would have worked?

Hi Lambkin,
                     Use your search engine. Put in Winlaton and/or
Winlaton nails and you will get lots of sites dealing with Winlaton,the
area and the industries. Also experiment with variations.

There's a forge there  that is still there and is open on heritage open days each september. From meory it made nails.
