I am trying to trace my fathers birthline - believed he was born Sept 1st 1895 in Limavady - his mother originated from Donegal, her name was Harkin.  That's all the information I have at the moment, hope someone can help me to build my family tree.                 Regards Wagtail321

Hi Mary, I think she originated from Carndonagh, and her first name was Annie, so really that's all I know - oh yes, my grandfather was also named William Donnelly and came from Claggan.     Thank you for responding to my query.
                                                   Regards   Wagtail

Hi Mary,

See you have been busy and thank you so much, in respect of where Claggan is, it is a district just outside Limavady in the Ballykelly area, regards the Harkins in Carndonagh I haven't heard any those names, I have just found out that there are relatives in Carowblagh, Carndonagh by the name of Doherty which would be related somewhere along the line to my grandmothers family, thats all I can gather at the moment.  Look forward to your reply Mary.

                                                  Best regards   Wagtail
