1901 census look up please.

ALBERT WILLIAM JAMES my maternal grandfather,aged 29,born Worcester has been a pain in the butt to find,I can't find him on the LDS 1881 census or the 1891 census,he married in 1900 to Harriet Roberts aged 28,born in Birmingham.could someone please have a look in the 1901 census for him,they lived in Birmingham at that time.

Thats all the info I have, his father, William.H.James lived in Balsall Heath at the time,thanks for the reply.

How did you trace 'his' father without matching them on census, nor (presumably) having a marriage certificate?

I'm not being awkward, I just want all the infomation I can before looking further.

Someone kindly gave me the info on the family from the 1871 census for Worcester, after that,I traced Alberts father to Balsall Heath in Birmingham from the online version of the 1901 census,his son Albert had married by then.

May I then see a transcription of the 1871 census that you have, plus info from ANY certificates.

William.H.James,b,1850,Chepstow.
Jane.ditto,wife,b,1844,St John,Worcester.
Alfred,ditto,b,1871. St John Worcester.
Abert.W. ditto.b,abt,1870,St John,Worcester.

PB.
The only info I have on Albert & Harriet's wedding certificate is that they
married in the parish of Bishops Ryder,Duddeston,Birmingham in 1900.
