There's a George Beck age 18 in 1861 born Hackney who is in Chatham Royal Marine Barracks but is that the same person.

Age 23 a groom in 1866 in Wandsworth prison.

Death in Hackney in 1885 age 42 but not clear if these are the same person/your George.

From what we can figure out, none of the siblings had any children but they did stay close to extended family.

That's unusual isn't it with all those children.

Really unusual - I think George married a Caroline Lucy Jackson, daughter of Rev Thomas Jackson (Wesleyan) and died in 1917. I don't think they had children but the Beck sisters gave money in their will to the nieces and nephews of George and Caroline.

The only one I can't account for is the George age 8 in 1851.  He isn't with the family in 1861 so may have died or left home.

I didn’t realise the original query was posted so long ago but hope it will be seen so we can help further.

Birthplace for Edward Beck is Dover Kent on the 1851 census.

I was thinking Edward age 7 in 1841 must be from a previous marriage and there is one to a Jane Morris in 1832 who died in 1834 so she could be his mother then he married Susanna.

If Edwards seniors origins are required then his father on that marriage is Thomas Barton Beck.
The 1838 marriage to Susanna should confirm if he was a widower and has the same father’s name.

What is it you are writing about the two sisters?

Not finding Caroline and George at all  :-\

I can see her death but not his or a marriage for them or see them together on any census.

Yes, that's the father and son from first marriage. Jane died less than a month after Edward was born. There's a really useful Beck family tree (of sorts) at pennyghael.org/Beck.pdf

The sisters were Suffragettes who were quite renowned local figures in our village. Trying to give them the acknowledgement they deserve!
