Hello Vicar's Wife,

Could you be so kind as to search for the surname "Potts".  I am really getting better at this.  Most marriages were Durham, some Northumberland.

Thanks in advance,

Jim

I know this might be a long shot, but could you check for me the Barnard castle marriage registers for

Ellen TAYLOR marrying Robert BARKLAY sometime around or after 1861?

This was Ellen's parish of birth though she was living in Darlington on the 1861 census. Robert was Irish.

I cannot find the marriage anywhere at the moment.

Thanks

Hi Steven

I have had a quick look for the marriage but not coming up with anything positive..

Wonder if it might be worth checking just over the boarder in Yorkshire....

Failing that get one of the children's Birth certs..if you have'nt already..

Dont know what to suggest really..

The Vicars Wife.
Nothing in the data for either and Ellen Taylor or the surname Barklay
