Re: Peggy13
There is a Meggison mentioned on the timesonline newspapers early to mid 1800's. I think it was Rev Meggison at Lanchester. if i come across it again i will note it down :-\

Have you checked Carole's website http://homepage.ntlworld.com/carole.johnson40/LONGSTAFFBOOK.htm
The Langstaffs of Teesdale and Weardale by George Blundell Longstaff. Carole has transcribed the original book and is also adding extra information.

Thank you Rewcastle.
I am familiar with Carole Johnson's transcription of the Langstaff/Longstaff Pedigrees.I believe Pedigree 10 ( ? now Pedigree 37) relates to my Langstaff/Longstaff interest.

John Longstaff 2nd son b3.10.1810 married Mary Ann Todd and came to Australia via New York where my late wife's great grandfather was born.
John referred to was a son of Michael Longstaff and Mary Dawson.

Any further help will be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for my Stonehouse's who lived in Durham.
My Great grandfather is Edwin Stonehouse. He had 4 Wifes and a lot of his Children died young.
Edwin M Jane Wilson 1899, Elizabeth Ann Jefferson (my Great Gran) 1903, Minnie Muir 1908 and Mary Cawthorne 1921. All i have is Auckland Co Durham,Western Durham. Any Stonehouse's would be fine as they always seem to tie in if you wait long enough.
Many Thanks
