Hi,
I`m looking for any marriage of a Robert Pearson who was the father of Jonathan Pearson born 1819ish. I have a marriage in Sunderland to a Margaret Pringle. But if you have any others around say 1805-1820 I`d be really grateful for them.

Can you look up a marriage for me please in the Pelton area. I am looking for John Hewison b December 1861 Platelayer on railways marrying Mary Stevens b1859. John's father name is Thomas. They have 2 children Sarah b1888c and Margaret b1891. If you have any information on the christening of the 2 children too this would be helpful. Needing to check if Sarah's mother was Mary or if it could have been Margaret. Any information will be very helpful.

Sory nothing in my data for these two either.. and nothing showing on the Sunderland or Durham registrars websites which is strange. Looked at Hewison Hewitson Stevens Stephens

On the Durham Registrars website
1853 married at Whitworth Church entry no 53
You should be able to get a copy of the said marriage from Durham Records Office for a cost of about £2

Thanks. I now think that John Hewison married Margaret ? in 1888. She died in 1893 aged 24 and then sometime before the 1901 census John married a Mary but she may not have been Stevens. Are there any marriages for a John Hewison of Pelton from 1888 to 1901?

I have just looked at the 1891 census and Margaret was born at Walbottle if that helps at all.

Ive just had another look on the Durham Registrars and Sunderland Registrars too and there's nothing..

have U got the census info for them for 1901 and 1891 ?
Could U post it please if you have place of birth ages and where they were born
