BISHOP AUCKLAND
KILLED BY FALLING DOWN STAIRS ----- A Pitman named Thomas Walton, died on Wednesday afternoon at Eldon Lane near Bishop Auckland, from injuries sustained on Saturday night. Deceased was ascending a stepladder to get into his upper room to bed, when he took a giddy fit and fell back down the stairs, causing injuries to his spine, which resulted in his death as stated. Deceased leaves a wife and family.
