Hall family look up request Sandbach

Can anyone please help me with a look-up for the baptism record for my great great grandfather John Hall as I live outside the UK and have reached a brick wall. John Hall's baptism may have taken place on 6 Nov 1814 probably at St Mary's Church Sandbach, Cheshire. Censuses show that he was born at Wheelock. His father was John Hall, an excise officer, possibly born at Middleham, Yorkshire. His mother may have been called Jane. The younger John Hall later became a saddler. Both John Halls moved some time afterwards to Cumberland and eventually the younger John Hall settled in Wigan, Lancashire. Many thanks.

Have you got the baptism information from the IGI, www.familysearch.org for John Hall?  If so, the easiest option would be to email Cheshire Records Office with the date, name, place and parents and ask if they can give you the information for the baptism record on the parish register.  This might not tell you all the information you are looking for but it may give you the father's occupation at least.

They may do the lookup for free, but for a small fee you can get a photocopy of the actual record if you think it's the right one and order it online.
