Hi Carol
Thankyou so much Engin Horrocks (First name is Engin - Turkish) Is my grandmother, Its Micheal I am trying to find out about, All that generation are dead and he died so young, I am having to restore his grave stone and I have no idea of his birthday etc, (its not on the damaged one) Because of the nature of his death, my great grand parents refused to talk about it - and nothings been passed over, I really must get it right on the stone, any idea how I can find his birthday date out? Thanks for the information so far - its so helpful.

Roxanne

Hiya Patvp
The only one I can find is
Charles Harper age 58, Beckett Dispensary,Buried 19 November 1878, Section N Plot 526.
There is a John and Elizabeth burial but not till 1884. There are too many burials to write down with all the names you are after so private message me your e-mail addy and I'll see what I can do.

Hiya Roxanne
You will only get his correct birth date from his birth certificate or death certificate in the late 60's I think they started putting the birthdate in the Death Index I've just looked and 1961 is too early also if I'm looking at the correct death in BMD his name is recorded as Vincent M Horrocks.I've just looked at is birth registration in BMD and that is also Vincent M Horrocks.

Hi Carol
Yes that's right He was known as mike (middle name) but his real name is Vincent Micheal Horrocks

I guess I will have to go to the town hall and apply for a copy of his birth certificate, I know My great Grans Maiden name was Haslam.

Thanks again for the info
