Thanks Carolanne for looking.

I am also trying to find what became of their daughter Sybil Boulton born 1918.

I don't suppose that could be one of the names listed?

I can see  a Isabella Denholm M Boulton listed in Ardsley Crem but to see the records you need credits you could phone the crematorium up and they would give you the details.
or
Google www.cemeteries.org.uk

and click on Dearne Memorial Group & Barnsley Cemeteries Project this has a listing of all the cemeteries around Barnsley you can search for free but to get the details you have to buy credits.

Looking for a William Shaw burial in Barnsley. He was a coal miner and his son said William was deceased when the son married in Barnsley in 1879. I think William was killed in the Oaks mine disaster and would have died in Dec 1866. I don't know if his body was recovered. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hiya Mboro
The only listing I can see for a Shaw killed in the Oaks disaster is a James Shaw age 15 lived in Wilson Street.
Do you have an address I could maybe find it that way.

Hiya Mboro
I've just found another list I have and there are 4 unknown burials in 1868 all killed in the 1866 explosion he could be one of them. I'll see if I can match a plot number.
Carol
No sorry can't match any of them
