Hiya Rebel
Glad to be off help, I didn't mean for you to spend money lol but I do know that people like doing searches themselves. It took me awhile to work that site out but I was only being nosey so once you have used your credits you know where I am and I'm a lot cheaper

Hello Carol
In January you found me a few Crackles in Barnsley Cemetery.  I'm now looking for a Lucy Crackles, b 1871 d 1888.  She lived going towards Platts Common - poor girl drowned herself in the Dearne&Dove canal.  She doesn't appear to be in Hoyland cemetery.  Is she there on your records please?

Forgot to ask - if the verdict was suicide would she be buried in a churchyard in 1888?

Hiya Eileen
I can't see her in the Burials and choose how she died she would be buried somewhere.

Hello again Carol
thanks for looking - she's not anywhere in the Barnsley area.  Maybe she was taken back to Lincolnshire where the family originated.  Thanks again  :)

hi carolanne
can i ask a question can you trace without the name of the person but with the grave details.i have found some old papers and theres a letter from barnsley council to an aunt saying about some grave spaces.
its Section 14 Number 342  if you can could you tell me the name of whos buried there.i think it could be part of a family plot.the name could be either hibbert or lockwood.the letter is dated 28 april 1956 so it would be after that date.
many thanks for any help

I'll have a quick look with the names you have given I can't search without a name. You could always phone Ardsley Crematorium thats where all the burial records are held.
