Hiya Jen
It does say age 43 I can remember looking again because of the house number being the same number. I've just looked at the Death Index and there saying age 80 so it looks like a mistake on the part of the person who did the index I have.

I thought it might be a transcription error after checking the death index. If she is actually 80, it would be William's mother.

Do you happen to have a map of the cememtery? I will go and see if they have a headstone.

Hiya Jen
I do have a map somewhere but its finding it thats the problem but they now have some boards up in the cemetery with the sections mapped out.If you got in touch with the crem at Ardsley they have planns there and a plan of the grave plots and they can mark the exact plot for you.

Hi Carolanne. I forgot to ring until you reminded me  :o  so Ive just done it.

I can call up to Ardsley and collect one. The lady I spoke to said they will locate the exact grave and give me all the details they have on it too. They can also send one out by post but it would be the end of next week before it arrived because of the holiday and them sending things  2nd class.  Im hoping to persuade a friend to run me up there tomorrow and possibly then onto the cemetery to get some photos.
Thanks again for all your help. I may be calling for your help again as this family unfolds  ;)
