Hi All

I did email Barnsley Library and they found a burial for Sally Jackson (my gr gr grandmother) but not for George
They even replied same day!

Another mystery, but one definitely solved

Could you help me please to find the plots for
John Mulhearn d 1894
Catherine Mulhearn d 1910
Patrick Mulhearn d 1910
They will be in the RC part of the cemetery but unlikely to have a headstone.
Many thanks Carol

Hiya Ebch
I can help with 2 of the names

Patrick Mulhearn,age 73, Union Workhouse, buried 11/11/1910 Section T Grave number 361

Catherine Mulhearn, age 73,7 Drakes Yard, Shepherd Street, buried 26/4/1910 Section T Grave number 361

Also in the same grave
Michael Mulhearn,age 70,2 Wades Yard,Pitt Street buried 4/4/1932

Have found John but spelt with 2 LL
John Mullhearn, age 24, Killed in Strafford Main Colliery/1 Park Row, New Street, buried 19 August 1894, Section T Grave number 361.

If you were to contact Barnsley Crematorium (they hold the burial records for the cemetery)they will send you a map of the Cemetery and the Section T with the grave marked for you so you can at least work out where it is.

Thanks indeed for your speedy reply - I have walked round and round trying to find this grave.  Yes you have the right John Mulhearn d 1894 and you have also given me another name - Michael Mulhearn.  I suspected Patrick had a brother over here - I think you have found him.  Many thanks - Happy New Year  :)

Now my brain is working - Carol you have found the first son of Patrick and Catherine - Michael born 1862 in Ireland.  I could not find him after 1871 and wondered if he had gone back to Ireland - thanks again  :) This now leads me down another path!  Housework? oh no more important things to do.
