If you are looking for burials in any of the cemeteries Barnsley Archives and Local Studies have most of them on microfilm and some of them on CD. You can either go look at them yourselves or  email them archives@barnsley.gov.uk

Would they have Dodworth cemetery records there?

Hi Carolanne

This is probably a silly question you gave plot 3- 12 to me i went to find the grave this morning but no luck i know stones wear away or disappear or one is not put on but i am just checking would it be plot 3 grave 12 when read or in plots 3 to 12 as there would be a difference in the number of graves to look at.

Regards Anna

Hiya Anna
I'm sorry I didn't make it clear enough its section 3 grave number 12  there are signs in the cemetery telling you where the sections are.
Hope this helps

Hiya Anna
Yes thats a big problem hopefully one day it will be sorted. When I have a problem like that I try and find a grave with a number on and try and work out where mine should be and it sometimes is just a piece of grass.
