Hiya Ruskie
This is the only James I can see in March 1/4 1871

James Walker age 67,Wilson Street,buried 6/3/1871,plot T 31

Same for Jane

Jane Walker age 74, 28 Wilson Street, buried 2/2/1880, plot J 834.

I would have expected them to be buried in the same grave but they are both from Wilson Street so maybe its them.

Hi Carolanne,

Thanks so much for that. I have found a death record for Barney. It is recorded as Barnie McQuin in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter in 1854 at Barnsley. I will request a copy of the death certificate and see what's on that. I will pm my e-mail just in case.
Once again thankyou.

Shelley

Hello
Could I please ask if there is a burial of Mary Hoyle in 1862; she would have been in her late 70s.
Thank you.

Hello Carolanne and thank you.
This is definitely the correct one as she was a widow living with her son George at Winn Street in Silkstone aged 75 in the 1861 census.
Her husband Joseph Hoyle died (I think) in 1855 but from what I understand from previous posts your records do not go back that far.
Thank you again.

Hiya Shelley
I've just been looking at the census and Winn Street is in Barnsley  it says in the Township of Silkstone . Winn Street I think used to be off Doncaster Road. When I'm next at the library I'll ask where they think people might be buried who were living in Winn Street which is in the parish of St John.
