Hi Carolanne

I'd be very grateful if you could check your list for any Moreton's buried in Barnsley cemetary- I know some of them lived in that area but haven't yet found their burials.  Many thanks.

Hiya Bob
I don't have any records of the burials in Dodworth and when I mentioned not many graves left I ment the ones that would be surrounding the Church so it all depends what years your after

Hiya Crystal
I've just been looking through all my records and there isn't one burial with that spelling Moreton.

Thanks for that Carolanne, at least thats one cemetary I can eliminate from my search when I widen it.  Can I ask what years you have the records for?

Thanks for your time

Crystal

PS  Just had a thought, sometimes the 'e' was dropped and just ' Morton' was used -was there any with that spelling?  Sorry to be a nuisance.

Hi Carolanne

We are keeping you busy - you're very generous with your time doing so many lookups!

Can I request a check for:
Robert WORDSWORTH, death registered Sep q, 1891; and
Caroline WORDSWORTH, died 17 July 1868

Robert was a Methodist Town Missionary in Barnsley.

Many thanks

Ruth

Hiya Crystal
My records are from about 1860 to more or less present day. I can see 10 Morton burials from 1894 to 1997. I have to get ready to go out for a couple of hours so haven't got time to write them all out but will do as soon as I get back.

Carolanne

That sounds like it could be very interesting especially timewise - there is no rush for them as I have plenty of other 'jobs' to be going on with.   :)
