Could you tell me whether there are any Drydens buried in the cemetery please? I am helping someone research their tree and every Dryden in Barnsley pre-1900 belongs to it.

Hi Carolanne,

I wonder if you could look up a few more of mine in Barnsley Cemetery.
Henry Evans died 1884 Barnsley age 48
Adelaide Evans died 1870 Barnsley age 9

Matilda Crossley died 1891 age 66

Much appreciated.  Thank you.

I can't see any of the names you mentioned buried in Barnsley Cemetery. It could be that they were buried in one of the local church burial grounds.

I can't see a burial for a Jim Crossland in 1860.
What I can see is James Crossland age 60 buried 18 July 1875 section M 466 Con . Killed at Turness Maine Colliery / Cawthorne.

Hi Carolanne

Thank you for the look up.. This is not the right Jim Crossland, but will keep it on file. Hope you enjoy your holiday to America. Have a great time. I am off there myself tomorrow.

Thank you again

Cheers
