I can only only see,
Henry Carlisle age 50 buried 25-01-1863 L 6 Con /Berry Row Barnsley.
Frances Carlisle age 69 buried 11-04-1880 L 6 Con /Sackville Strett Barnsley.
The dates for the  other two are too early

Would you check if the following children are buried at Barnsley Cemetery please.

Charles Edward Armitage born abt 1872 died before 1876

Elizabeth Armitage born abt 1874 died before 1881

Charles Armitage born abt 1876 died before 1881

They are children of Edward & Mary Armitage

The only one I can find at the moment and I can't say for sure its him because he isn't in the same grave as his parents but the age at death would match the birth year you have.
Charles Armitage age 3 buried 22-5-1879 section Q 458 Uncon 6 Fleming St ..
I'll have another quick look for the other 2

Thanks for looking Carolanne, Charles age 3 looks promising.

All three children were baptised at Dodworth but not buried there.

The family seem to have moved from there to Worsbrough then to Barnsley, not sure how far Worsbrough is from Barnsley.

Do you know if there is any way I can find whether the grave for Edward & Mary Armitage section E 371 had a headstone ?

Worsbrough isn't all that far from Barnsley and the only answer I can give you about a headstone is the address and phone number to the people who could help
