Thomas Lee (would be over 21 years) Probably head of household.
Wife- Ellen (was Sisson)

Child Thomas aged 6 years (born 1865)

No Thomas Lee born between 1863-1867 born or living in the Preston area had parents Thomas & Ellen.  The nearest was b 1867 parents Thomas & Mary

Did he have any siblings born before 1871

Thanks for your help. I believe this is Ellen's family. I do not know if she has already married or has still to be born. If anyone could find her on either the 1851 or 1871 census, I would reallly appreciate it.

Her parents Thomas & Ellen married in 1851

If Ellen Sisson was the mother of the Thomas b 1865 - you are now saying that her (Ellen's) parents only married in 1851??

That makes Ellen about 13 in 1865.

I have just about given up on this one. I had realised the same..... Every angle I try goes nowhere.

I am progressing one last lead on the main Lancashire board. I was advised by my late father, that Ellen Sisson was an ancestor, but no matter where I put her in my line, it leads nowhere.

Thanks for your help anyway.

If you want to follow this story see the main board..although I am close to giving up if my last lead is also incorrect.
