Hi Steph

I agree looks like two families.
Better to have muddied water than no water at all. :)
I dont suppose you have a possible marriage for the Mary Ayers/Ayres born 1809 by any chance?
Hope you resolve your problems - take some "fresh airs" perhaps. :)
Thanks again

Hi Freeman,
When this info was collected I was only looking at births, I'm afraid. However, due a trip to Northampton Central Library within next few weeks, can check it out for you. To confirm: you are looking for marriage of John Palmer & Mary Ayres dates poss. 1824-1833?
best wishes, Steph  :)

Dear Steph,

Thanks for your great offer.
Yes, probably 1833 back to 1824 very earliest
as Mary born c. 1808.
Believe oldest child, Frances b. c. 1833. If you happen across her birth detail that would be a added bonus.
Dont spend all day on this !  :)
Kind Regards
Freeman

Hi Freeman/Steph

I managed to pick up the information re: the Marriage and Baptism I said I had found from the Library today.

1st one.

St John the Baptist Peterborough P.C. By Banns 5th November 1832.

Pg 15 No 45
John Palmer o.t.p. Bachelor to Mary Agers (at least that is what it looks like the vicar has written) o.t.p. Spinster

Both sign their marks. Witnesses John Church and Frances Palmer both sign with their marks.

Hi again Steph,

Thanks your offer. Sandy has other worries so perhaps you would give a second opinion on the marriage of John Palmer to Mary on 5/11/1832 as to her surname given - Agers or Ayers ? Full details above (27th Jan).
Would be most grateful.  :)

Best wishes
Freeman
