Graham,
Passmore plays a small but important role in the story of Edgar Mobbs, the England rugby captain who was killed on 31 July 1917 - hence my interest in him. I was wondering whether Mobbs is mentioned anywhere at all in the papers that you've seen.
Perhaps you might be able to email me? I'm graham dot mckechnie at bbc dot co dot uk.
Thank you!
Graham

The letters would go via normal mail to the British Forces Post Office, I don't know where it was based during WW1 but I believe all the overseas forces mail goes to an office at RAF Northolt now. Then forward transmission around the world.
