How are you Saz? How is your grandchild? Grand - daughter if I remember.

I am almost certain you are right about another posting referring to photography in Belfast. It is funny the way things happen. It may be that a friend of mine, who has just registered at Rootschat, has the same initial as the daughter of the photographer in question R. I hope this is the one that you have in your mind and had on your list of favourites. My memory may be good  but I am not a long distance mind reader and regret I have no clue what was on your list of favourites.

Has anyone saved the information Anthony posted in his messages please I could check the photographers if Anthony has not already posted the details. It's a pity he deleted his messages. I'll be in the Central Library sometime tomorrow as the course I'm attending starts at the UU complex in York Street, just across the road from the Library.

Just came across this thread tonight, it’s going back a bit but thought I’d put my ‘pennysworth’ in.

R. Clements Lyttle was the original photographer; he had a son whose first name I’ve forgotten.  This son took over the studio from his father and was President of the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland in the late 1960’s or early 1970’s. he had a daughter called Julie who worked in the studio.

A photographer named Jim Moreland was a photographer with the studio during this period, he would know the complete history; his contact details are,

By coincidence my name is Lyttle, not any relative of the R. Clements Lyttle Studios.
