I've been tracing the BOWKETT family who lived in and around STEPNEY, LONDON during the 19th century.  Other families include: James, Horan, Lyons, Trattle, Mitchell, Marks & Bird.  Would love to contact other descendent's and perhaps exchange information.

Thanks for your email.  My Bowkett's so far only go back to around 1800 in London, so I don't know if there is a link to Ledbury etc.  But, thanks anyway and I shall have a look at your website.

Seeking information about Maria Sarah Bowkett, daughter of William Bowkett and Elizabeth Yeomans, and sister of Dr. Thomas Edward Bowkett of Poplar. Maria Sarah Bowkett  was born at Horsleydown 2 Nov 1808; she was married first to William Briggs on 14 Feb 1826, and second to Lawrence Henry Warner 5 Sep 1834 at St. Leonard's Shoreditch.  I'm in Boston, a descendant of Lawrence Warner. She died about 1853--I am interested to known when and where she died, I purchased a couple of incorrect certificates. Are there burial records for her relatives?
