I am related to Anna McCarthy and William Green of Marquette MI. William Green was my Great Grandfather. I do have family photos of William and Anna including their 7 children. My Grandfather was James Green.

I am a direct descendant of Anna McCarthy and William Green, They were my great grandparents. If anyone is still searching (Kmanders) I have information and photos. I hope to hear from you soon. Valerie Green

My Great Grandmother was Johanna(Anna)(Joanna) Anatasia McCarthy.  born 11/11/1864 County of Waterford, Kill, Ireland.  She traveled with her mother, grandmother, and two brothers to New York around 1871 or 1872, to meet up with her father.  Her mother died on the ship enroute to New York, and is buried on Staten Island.  We don't have names of any of her family.  Joanna married William Green in Marquette, Michigan 1882, who had moved there from Scotland.  She lived to be 88, died April 1952.  They had 7 children, 5 sons, 2 daughters.  Son, William J. Green, is my grandfather.
