Hi Shell
I have searched the 1841 for Knutsford and did not find a Charles who was old enough to have a daughter born 1823. But found one family of Bradbury butchers that may be related they had a son Charles born c1815.
I then searched all the 1851 Altringham Districts piece nos 2162/2163 which includes Knutsford, and only found the same family. I don't have the 1861 census details sorry.
If you would like any of the above let me know, it may be worth while saving them for referance.

These are the relavent sections from the 1851 census

HO 107 2163- F 50/52 Knutsford Superia

There are no road names on these pages and all the Bradbury's are born in Knutsford, and if you have any problems with the scan let me know I will see if I can help.
Hope you can eventualy tie the names in with your research, and I will keep my eyes open for Charles

Hello I am descended from the Bradbury family of butchers in Knutsford.  I have looked in to Charles and Mary before and concluded that Charles died in 1828. (FindMyPast) which would seem to make sense as he didn't have any children after 1826.  Find my past shows children born between 1806 and 1826 so I wondered about the marriage to Mary Reynolds in Manchester 1804.

His date of birth in the death record is given as 1781. This would seem to fit in with the illegitimate son of Mary Bradbury born in 1782, but I am not sure how she is related to the family of butchers shown in the 1841, 1851, 1861 censuses.  For her to be related I expected her to be a daughter of Joseph Bradbury and some trees on Ancestry show a Mary born in 1761 daughter of Joseph which i shall check.
Yes Mary Breadbury daughter of Joseph butcher born 1761
