Marriage/Baptism look up please

Hello,

I have a problem finding the marriage of

Reuben Hunt to Ann (Pyne?)

He was born ca 1788, Barnham, Norfolk, she was ca 1791 - from census info.
First child on the IGI is Reuben, b 22 Jun 1808, Thaxted, Essex

And if Ann is Ann Pyne, then could you also see if you can find her 1791-ish baptism in Bocking, Essex, please?

Any help greatly appreciated! I have no parents for either of these folks.

Hi,

I looked at the Thaxted records.

I could find no reference to the marriage between 1802 and 1809

I could find no reference to a baptism of Ann Pyne between 1789 and 1803

The following baptisms would appear to be your family

Hunt, Reuben son of Reuben and Ann H born 22 June 1809, baptised 3 Sept 1809

Hunt, William son of Reuben and Ann H born 8 Nov 1809, baptised 2 Dec 1810

Hunt, Mary daughter of Reuben and Ann H born 25 Oct 1812, baptised 28 Oct 1812

Well, I don't know what's up with these folks. I haven't got them in 1841, but I have them in '51 and '61 in Middlesex and Surrey (from memory). Even if I find them in 1841, I'll know no extra details about their birthplaces than I have now.

What is of definite interest is that you have seen a middle initial for Ann. Hmmm!! I'm not sure where to look next.

Yes, the one on British Origins and didn't some up with a Hunt/Pyne union or Hunt and Ann H union (ignoring the word Pyne). Ho hum
