Both of the findings that you have posted look interesting, especially the Michael in Deptford in 1851. Naturally I'm going to have to go to google and find out where Deptford is as I don't know my English places.

St Paul Deptford was in Kent now part of London............it borders New Cross & Bermondsey......if your family is found within Southwark or S.E London in general, don't rule out Deptford

Remember that a lot of East End people went fruit/hop picking in the summer. The women and children moved down leaving the husband at home (if he had a job). Children not born in the summer would be born at home in London. If they were born in the summer then the place of birth would be Kent. Remember also that if the wife was only home outside the fruit picking season then that was the time she was most likely to get pregnant making it even more likely the child would be born in the next season.
