Hi, I know that this post is an old one, however, I just noticed it. Im clutching at straws here, however, my Elizabeth Allford married a John Tonks in Shropshire, specifically Malinslee. That wedding was in 1845. My Elizabeth had a sister Mary Ann Allford, I have much more information, not yet sorted and put into my Legacy package yet, but perhaps there is a link.
