Hi
I am trying to fill in gaps and wonder if you can help.
Thomas Serginson b. c1807 N'Allerton York and wife Mary b. 1810 Hipswell York. In 1881 are at North road Darlington but I believe they came from Yorkshire and at some time c1835 ish had a William and c1836 Thomas. (poss more)
Can they be traced in 1861?

Tony

Hi John & Emma
Thank you very much. I should have found them in the 1861 but couldn't.
I wonder if you have the son William b.c1835? his daughter Annie is born Tubwell Rd. Darlington 4/3/1862.
I have acces to 1861 census but it is playing up at the moment

Thanks again

Tony

Hi Tony,

Will have a look for William...as for Fargeson...put in Thomas, born between 1805 & 1809 in Northallerton.  Then look at what is throws out and what might have been mistranscribed!

Hi Emma
William was married to Mary nee Peverley according to Annie's birth cert.
He was a Currier living Tubwell Row Darlington.
Both parents I believe died before 1881 as their is no sign of them and Annie is living with Grandparents. She was also buried next to them with her Hus when she died in 1927

Thanks
Tony

PS your new message has just come in. That may well be him as their are not a lot of Serginsons about at that time.

Thanks again
If you do find anything of interest re this family I would be most gratefull.
I see from the 1851 census that there is a daughter Elizabeth that I dindn't know of.
