Frances FRAMPTON
« on: Saturday 07 January 06 02:29 GMT (UK) »
I would like to try and find a link on A frances  Frampton who would have been born mid  1700s. The only information I have on her is a copy of her marriage to Thomas Pursey in25th February 1798, one of the witnesses to the marriage was a Richard Frampton. Frances had a son Francis Frampton Pursey in October 1799 and was buried a few days later.
I have gone through the Parish Records that are avilabe on LDS Films,. for Walton, as that is where the marriage state Frances was from, butthere is nothing on her at all.
Just a small lead would be wonderful.

Hi Twiggy,

The only one anywhere near the time that I can find is a Fanny Frampton Christened in Cheselborne  Dorset  3 Feb 1770. Parents were William and Elizabeth. She came from a large family and did have a brother named Richard. Let me know if you are interested and would like the rest of the family.

Kind Regards,

Frances :)

Dear Frances,
Many thanks for the reply regarding Frances Frampton. I would be so grateful if you could send me the rest of the family.
It may be the right one at last, as her son Francis Frampton Pursey had a daughter called Elizabeth, so it may the link. Do hope so, it is so annoying to have a Deadend.

Dear Frances,
Many thanks for replying and sending the family information. It may be the family, I hope so. Francis Frampton and his wife Ann also had a daughter Mary Ann and I see there is both a Mary and an Ann, so will hire the film and have a look.
Many thanks again, Twiggy

Hester Collins b 25 Dec 1754 Walton by Glastonbury father Joseph Collins, mother Martha Carter m 25 Nov 1750 St. John Glastonbury

Only just found these links and I think they are also the one's you are looking for.

Hi Crispy,
Thank you so much for the information you sent. I have been searching for years to find the smallest link to find who Frances' parents were. I can now hopefully make some headway on that line.
Thanks you once again, I do appreciate the help that is given.

Dear Chris, Many thanks for your reply. After I sent mine back, I realised that it was the wrong Frances. I think the one you found was born about 1799? Well the Frances I am chasing would have been born about 1770, as she married in 1799 and had a son and died in 1800, about 3 days after giving birth. Thanks very much for the help anyway.
