Ann Alcocks

Looking for details concerning Ann Alcocks, I believe she was born in the Blaenavon area in about 1801.

I think she married James Gething (born in Shropshire) in 1824 at Llanwenarth and they eventually moved to Shropshire/Staffordshire.

From the 1851 census they had 3 sons born in Blaenavon area Emmanuel (1833),  Thomas (1829) and William (1834) this is taken from the 1851 census.

I have gethins in my family tree and the was definatley a emmanuel and a thomas and william they moved to henesford in staffordsh ;Dire

Hi i ve got info on the gethin family .William Gethin was born 1832 and died 1885 He married Eliza Waker 1873 i have the correct date. When he died she married Alfred Thomas Pargeter my 3 times grandad.I have the date she died and where if you have some info to share Thanks Luke Pargetter
