Hi

I'm looking for details of the above person who  was my husbands great grandma.  She was born in Helidon, Northampton in 1872.  Can anyone help please?

Poole is her maiden name - she married a Bloodworth but I think this was in Leicestershire or Rutland

In the 1881 census, there ia a Phoebe Poole, born Helidon, living at Frisby om Wreake, Melton Mowbray

Abraham Poole age 38 Agricultural Labourer
Mary Poole age 36
James Poole age 13 Agricultural Labourer
Phoebe Poole age 9
Sarah Poole age 6
Then twins !!!!
Rose A Poole age 3
Lillian R Poole age 3
Amy Poole age 3months

In 1891 there ia a Phoebe Poole working as a cook for William Wright and family in Burton - he is described as a manufacturer of elastic fabric

I have just come across your interest in Phoebe Poole.  Phoebe Poole was the sister of my daughters mother-in-law's grandfather - John William Edward Poole born in 1883!   Her husbands great grandfather if that is any clearer.

I have quite a bit on the Pooles if you would care to get in touch.

Hi and thank you for the message, Pheobe was my husbands great grandmother.  I do not have a JohnWilliam Henry Poole in my tree - as far as I'm aware her siblings were Mary Eliza B 1864, Abraham James b: 1867, James B: 1868, Sarah B: 1875, Rose Annie B: 1878 and Lilian Rachel B:1878 (twins).  Of course your person could have been born later and I don't know about him,  These were all born in Hellidon, Northampton.  My email address is
