Have Lewin's and Bailey"s in my William Abner Allen line, all from the areas you are looking to find them.

Chardy

I have all of my work on the PAF program and am not sure how to send it to you. What would be the best way.

Hello,

My GGGgrandfather was John Lewin:

John Lewin. Born 1817 Barrow-on-Soar.

He married Sarah. Born 1816 Belgrave, Leicester. Children of John Lewin and Sarah are:

1. George Lewin. Born 1840 .
2. Jane Lewin. Born 1843 .
3. Richard Lewin. Born 1845 .
4. Sarah Lewin. Born 1851 .
5. Adam Lewin. Born 1853 .
6. Joseph Lewin. Born 1856 .

Now this George is not your one, unless I have gone very wrong in my research as these I believe are his details:

George Lewin. Born 1840 . He was the son of John Lewin and Sarah.

He married Mary. Born 1840 Hinckly, Leicestershire. Died (1871 - 1881) . Children of George Lewin and Mary are:

1. John May Lewin. Born 1863 .
2. Joni? Lewin. Born 1865 .
3. Elizabeth Lewin. Born BET JAN 1867 AND MAR 1867 Leicester.
4. Sarah Lewin. Born 1869 .
5. Joseph Lewin. Born 1872 .

He married Ann. Born 1834 Sutton.

Siblings of George Lewin

1. Jane Lewin. Born 1843 .
2. Richard Lewin. Born 1845 .
3. Sarah Lewin. Born 1851 .
4. Adam Lewin. Born 1853 .
5. Joseph Lewin. Born 1856 .

I just wondered as John was born in Barrow-on-Soar and Belgrave is quite near what was the Barrow-on-Soar registry area was, if there may be some connection. If any of these look familiar please let me know.

All the best,
Martyn
