« on: Saturday 10 December 05 03:02 GMT (UK) »
Andrew DAvidson B 2.9.1763 died 4.9.1848 married Jane Carruthers , both may be listed in the 1841 census if some one is able to look them up. Children we know of are David, James, Mary who married James Broatch and moved to Scotland, and George . All born before 1812. If any one can help out  as i am researching from Australia KIm

Y means that they were born in the County
N means outside the county
then "S" for Scotland, "I" for Ireland etc.

I wasn't sure about Mary's surname, might even be Bell, very hard to read

Thanks for that, i have had a look at my info, the only one not listed from the family isDavid Davidson. I think by then he was married to a Mry. We do not have a birth date but his parents ( Andrew and Jane on your 1841 census) were married  4/8/1804. Elizabeth Carruthers was Janes Daughter so David would have to be younger than her. I think he was still in the area. Any info on him would be great Thanks Kim
