I have recently discovered that I am looking for Jan(n)et Thomson from Annan-Middlebie, born about 1810.
Maybe  they are related?

Hi David i have Jane Thomson born 1846 Canonbie i do also have some Thomsons born about 1810 Margaret Thomson 1811 Robert Thomson 1815 James Thomson 1816 John Thomson 1820 they were the children of William Thomson 1782  from Annan and Barbara Elliot 1785 at Annan. It is possible Janet could be their child.Sometimes you think you have found all your ancestors then you find more.If Janet is one of William and Barbaras children let me know and i will give you more information on the Thomsons that i have.

Hi Margaret.
It is often hard to go past a spot on the tree for a time. Maybe the records aren't on the net yet, or maybe they are lost, but I haven't found the parents of Jan(n)et Thom(p)son or William Bell. They were married at Annan in 1831, so they may have had family there. They were supposedly born at Middlebie, but mothers may have been visiting relatives for the birth. Your group looks good, but we might be wrong.  Thanks for the idea.    David.
