Hi June,

You don't say if you have Joseph Peacock's details from later census, I can give you details from 1851 onwards if you want them.

He wasn't in Great Ayton (Yorkshire) in 1841, so looked for Peacocks in and around Romaldkirk (also Yorkshire!) - there weren't many, in fact only two - this may be him and perhaps his sister, but no sign of his father:

1841 HO107/1247/2 fol.14  p.4 Cotherstone (Romald Kirk parish)
In household of George Pickering, occ. given as Beer House:
Joseph Peacock  18  Ag. Lab  born in county

1841 HO107/1247/2 fol.4 p.3 Skein-bank, Cotherstone (Romald Kirk parish)
In household of John Watson farmer:
Margaret Peacock 20  F.S. (female servant) born in county

As later census all have the Peacocks living in Barnard Castle not far from Romaldkirk perhaps the rest of the family is there somewhere in 1841, but it's a big place to search without an address.  Please let me know if you need these 1851- later census details

Sorry, lots of Aldersons in Romaldkirk parish 1841, but no William & Ann.
I did find one more Peacock family in Mickleton, Romaldkirk parish:
HO107/1257/7 fol.18 p.6
Able Peacock  35  farmer
Margt.   "        25
Jane 5, Sarah 3, Margt. 1

Have you seen all the Romaldkirk Peacock baptisms on familysearch.org? Older generations but possibly Thos. & Jane are parents of your earlier Joseph Peacock:
Thos. Peacock & Jane parents of -
Joseph bapt 25 Feb 1754  Ann  13 Dec 1756     Mark 20 Jan 1759
Thomas  31 March 1761    Eber   28 Dec 1764

Jonathan Peacock & Anne  parents of -  Jane bapt  18 Oct 1721

Jonathan Peacock & Mary parents of - Thomas 20 Jul 1726  Hannah 24 Mar 1728
Jonathan 6 Apr 1732   Agnes 1 Aug 1734

Hope they fit in somewhere, good hunting,  Barbara

Hi Barbara, Thank you for look up and all the info you have given me, I will check it all out and see where they fit in
Somewhere a long the line.

Found out that Joseph Peacock Senior married Thamar or Tamar
but dont have marriage date as yet, found it on a Christening record of Ann Peacock.

My G Grandmother was called Thamar she must of been called after her grandmother.

kind regards June
