1841 Lookup - WORTHINGTON in Wilmslow Area

Seeking any information in the 1841 census on any Samuel Worthingtons aged 18 + or - a few years in the Wilmslow area - most likely in Morley or the Pownal Fee area. Listed as a carpenter in 1851 census and a joiner in subsequent census.

Unfortunately parents unknown at this stage

I see on the 1851 it says Samuel was born Morley.

I have been through the 1841 Bollin Fee Pownall Fee and Morley.

Sadly Morley is completely illegible, blank in fact.  Bollin Fee and Pownall Fee fair not much better, mostly illegible.

The only clear Worthington's were

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but the census is very bad indeed.

Your best bet would be to send for Samuel's marriage certificate and get his Father's name and occupation from that, then try to find a marriage of his Father to find out his Mother's name.

Unfortunately I could not find Jane Burgess.  Nor could I find any other Scholfields. It's a shame John wasn't with his family....

I have put all the Burgesses and Clarks that I could find.
Sorry no John Clark the right age, who appeared as Sarah Worthington's Father either.

I hope you can piece some of the families together eventually.
