hello again everyone.
I want to change my search request, I know that antonio Penton was in the 1871 census, he was 28 years old then. what I need to know is when he came here from Italy!, this is probably why I cant find any mention of his father ( Joseph Penton ) he probably entered the country alone, his father may be buried in Ancona Italy where he came from. can anyone suggest or help me find this out?, please. ( all I know as I have described in earlier posts, that he was a sailor who saved 28 lives at sea in a storm, and I am trying to get a copy of the newspaper story.) all my attempts to find information before 1871 are a dead end. any suggestsions will be gratefully received. I cant read or speak Italian so the Italian route is awkward, can anyone help me please?
