Francis BLOMEFIELD (1705-1752) published a history of Norfolk in the mid-18th century. It contains a great deal of information which would benefit those interested in both family and local history. The history was republished in 11 volumes in the early 19th century, but it's difficult to gain access to it if you don't live in Norfolk. Occasionally a copy comes up for sale, for example at

A publisher of facsimile books on CD may possibly be in a position to produce a copy of the entire work, thus making it available to a worldwide audience. To try and persuade him that sufficient people might be interested (and thus make its production economically viable) it would be useful to gauge interest amongst the likely purchasers.
