Alli,
once again thank you.

the info so far on the Bond family I am searching for.

Thomas Bond brn 1816 Alhamptom
Elizabeth Bond brn 1823 Ansford

Married in Ansford and their first five children were born Ansford,Alhamptom, and Sparkford.
This seems all correct with my research so far with 1851 census.
I am a little confused with the folowing, If the above Thomas was brn in Alhampton1816, his father ( Laurence) must have lived here as well, the info about Sarah Bond and family living in Alhampton 1841 Census makes sense and I think could well be my family, but Laurence and Sarah were married in Ditcheat 17th April 1815.  When Laurence died 14th May 1829, he was buried in Ditcheat???

I was wondering why Laurence And Sarah were married in Ditcheat, and not Alhampton. also Thomas brn 1816 was bapt in Ditcheat, all a little confusing.

hope all this make some sort of sense.
Regards
Steve. ( Greyhound)

alhampton is in the parish of ditcheat so it is quite conceivable that the 2 are so involved in your research.1841 cencus says place alhampton in the parish of ditcheat somerset.
