Hi
That particular marriage is one put onto the IGI by a member of the LDS church so your first move should be to check that the information is accurate by looking at the original register yourself.  There may be more details there and if they are from that parish you might find their bpatism details too.  If you are not able to go to Lewes record Office then you can order the film from your nearest LDS centre.  they are worldwide and listed on www.familysearch.org.
In 1851 living in Lewes there is a James Hillman, widower age 56, born Cliffe Lewes.  He is a coal porter.  If you discover enough to link him in then I can give you the full details.

I have only looked in the Cliffe area, as I have already spent most of the morning looking through Lewes for another surname (if only I'd known ::) ).  Perhaps someone else can look through the rest of Lewis for you.  Is there an address for 1851 Andrea - or is this just a name index?

In 1861 in the Workhouse, St Nicholas Lane, All Saints (RG09/586/134/37):

James Hillman, Inmate, Widower, 71, Mariner

1851 is a name index so only brief address.   Green Walk St John u castle area.  He is living with daughter Jane and her husband Henry Hope.  She is 30 and born Cliffe Lewes so if it is the right one they stayed in the area.

I am glad it is the right one.  I am a bit puzzled as to why you went to the library to look at the IGI when you obviously have access to the internet.  Maybe I have got this wrong.  You do know that the IGI is online at www.familysearch.org?    It is free to search and is a first port of call for all of us in this fascinating hobby of ours!
The reference for the 1851 census is HO 107 1643 F479
Henry Hope is a groom b Brighton.
