Coud you do a look up for 1841/51/61 Census Cardif for a John Bird born abt 1816 and a Jemima Bird B 1809 London.

John is listed as a Widow in 1861, so Jemima died between 1851 - 1861. I found a death entry for a Jemima Bird on the Free BMD site:

I also found a marriage entry for a John Bird a few years after this death entry, could your John have re-married 9 yrs later?

There are 2 women in the same transcription (it could be the wife of this individual hasn't been transcribed on the Free BMD's as of yet):

If you notice they have a Wesleyan Minister visiting them in 1861 at the time of the census, They were in all probability Wesleyan Methodists.

Could you please look up the following family on the 1861 Glamorgan census...

John EVANS (b 1822?), wife Hannah (b 1821)
son Allen John (b 1858), dau Margaret Mary (b1860)

I am led to believe they were living in the Llantrisant / Tonyrefail area.

John EVANS originated from Denbighshire, and I am trying to find out where Hannah came from. I think it is Gloucester(shire)

  Hello nearly didnt find this one!, I searched for various ways with the keyword Denbeighshire and Evans in the end as there were no matches. So I searched for a Hannah Evans born in Gloucs and luck was in!, this must be yours as all the names and the dates are same or near to the one you state. However John is down as being from Montgomeryshire not Denbeighshire,  the question marks as in the census data and have not been added by myself.

Sarah    b.1828  Milford, don't know if that is in Wales?

On the 1881 census there are living at 27 Brynmelin Street. Swansea.
