Hi James and babybels,

I stumbled across this site by accident and wanted to let you both know that I am the great grandson of Mag and Jim Connors.(Gorey, Wexford) My Mother is Peggy. my gran was biddy(Bridget) who sadly is no longer with us, she died age 87, in 2005, nor are any of her siblings, Nan, Martin, Jim(J.O.)
Also, your mother is correct about peggy having a daughter named Siobhan(my sister,  and 3 boys, Antony, Mark(me),  and Sean (I hope this is useful to you both and from this I too can learn more about my heritage from wexford.

Good luck to you both

Mark walsh

Hi Babybels,

would you or your mum know the name of the man who married biddy connors(my gran). i am led to believe that he was an O'connor and that he died when my mum was about 4 or 5.
other than this info this has always been a mystery to me and my siblings. It was always a sensitive matter and Biddy never discussed it.

Also would be great if could find out about the Cullen(Mag) side of the Family

yours and good luck

Mark Walsh

Hi All,

We've removed some of the names of people who are or may be still alive.

Please use the PM system if you are referring to living people, or if you are not sure whether or not they are still living.

Thanks :)
Bob

Hi,

How are you?  My name is Graham Connors and I am from Gorey in Co. Wexford, from McCurtain St.  From looking at previous posts I notice that you have mentioned both my grandparents, Martin and Maria Connors (it was spelled Maria but pronounced Mariah).  Unfortunately both my grandparents have passed away, as has Tommy and Sheila Nolan - of whom I have many fond memories from when I was a child.  I am also related to the Cullen's of Gorey through my grandfather so I am guessing that I will be able to answer some of your questions.

If I can be of any help to you in tracking down relatives please dont hesitate to contact me here on this site.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Graham Connors
